Association President's Greetings
The Korea Association Dance Leaders preserves the value of dance art and nurtures talent who will lead the future.
Hello, this is Ha Jae-yeon, president of the Korea Association Dance Leaders.
Dance is an art culture that expresses emotions and creates beauty through the body.
Our association was launched in May 1997, and as a non-profit corporation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cultural Heritage Administration, we aim to preserve and transmit the original values of Korean dance, ballet and modern dance, and to train professional personnel and lead the art of dance through the dissemination of dance. I do.
In addition, we aim to create a sound and healthy social climate by supporting various activities and expanding participation opportunities.
Our association's main activities include:
1. Training dance instructors
By operating about 20 types of qualification courses, including children's dance, pure dance, practical dance, and daily sports dance, we are nurturing dance talent and contributing to the creation of jobs for dancers and the development of art and culture. In particular, we are nurturing dance leaders who nurture their dreams and talents by collaborating with dance-specialized educational institutions at universities and colleges.
2. Holding a dance contest
We hold dance competitions in various genres such as Korean dance (traditional, creative), ballet, and modern dance (including jazz and street dance) twice a year, and provide appropriate competitions for kindergarten, elementary, middle, high school, college, and the general public. Provides opportunities to choose a career path.
3. Performing arts activities
We communicate with the public through various performing arts and promote the beauty and value of dance art.
Our association will continue to do our best to develop and popularize the art of dance.
We ask for your interest and support. Thank you.
